"Lions de Batailley" is the second wine of Château Batailley and draws its name from the two Lions who guard the gates of Château Batailley's main entrance.

Château Batailley, a 5th Grand Cru Classé of the classification of 1855, is the Castéja family's and Borie-Manoux’s flagship. It is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. Lions de Batailley comes mainly from young vines (10-40 years old), as well as from vines issued from non-associated plots in the final Grand Vin blend. This means you get wine from a Grand Cru estate and grower at a third of the price! The wine comes in a 6-bottle wooden box, making it a great choice for gift-giving or cellar collectors.
